Management Team

Thomas Malkin, President & Co-Founder, is a successful entrepreneur who helped take an Internet start-up from no clients to almost $40 million in annual revenue and who has extensive work experience in online marketing research and business development.  Mr. Malkin holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a masters degree from the University of Chicago, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Diploma from the London School of Economics.

Cheng Lu, Head of Product Development & Co-Founder, has demonstrated leadership in startups in both the US and China and has experience taking to market commercialized software products.  Mr. Lu received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Jeff Heilbrunn, Head of Marketing, has been involved with marketing research in telephony, television, and not-for-profit organizations for three decades.  For eight years, he was the national President of the American Marketing Association, the leading professional society of marketing professionals in the world.  For the past several years, Mr. Heilbrunn has taught marketing courses for Columbia College of Missouri and also has been active with several successful start-ups. Mr. Heilbrunn recieved his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago and his MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.

Art Roldan is a six-time technology entrepreneur with more than 20+ years experience in the software industry.  Most recently, Art was the CEO of SecurePipe before its acquisition by Ambrion TrustWave in December 2006.

is an executive member of Silicom Ventures who has a plethora of talent in guiding early stage companies to their first round of funding.

Leo J. Shapiro is founder of Leo J. Shapiro & Associates (LJS), one of the nation's premier marketing research companies.  Leo's areas of recognized expertise include market structure and consumer segmentation, brand development and positioning, and acquisition research.  Leo holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
