Thomas Malkin, President & Co-Founder,
is a successful entrepreneur who helped take an Internet start-up from
no clients to almost $40 million in annual revenue and who has
extensive work experience in online marketing research and business
development. Mr. Malkin holds two undergraduate
degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s
degree from the University of Chicago, an MBA from the Kellogg School
of Management at Northwestern University, and a Diploma from the London
School of Economics.
Dr. Bing Liu, Head of R&D & Co-Founder, is the inventor of feature-based opinion mining and, since 2003, has been researching feature-based sentiment analysis. Dr. Liu is a tenured professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago and has published over 105 journals, books, and publications on Web Mining, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing. Dr. Liu received his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh.
Cheng Lu, Head of Product Development & Co-Founder, has demonstrated leadership in startups in both the US and China and has experience taking to market commercialized software products. Mr. Lu received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
