Thomas Malkin, President & Co-Founder, is a successful entrepreneur who prior to GeeYee helped take an Internet start-up from no clients to a multi-million dollar company. Mr. Malkin’s work experience also includes cable advertising, cable network affiliate sales and distribution, public accounting, and teaching tennis professionally (USPTA Certified Tennis Professional – Level 2). Mr. Malkin holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Diploma from the London School of Economics.
Cheng Lu, Chief Strategy Officer & Co-Founder, has taken leadership roles in startups in both the US and China and has experience in commercializing software products. Mr. Lu received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Bill Cohen, Senior Business Development Consultant, has extensive business development experience and relationship building skills in working with custom and syndicated insights to drive client revenue. Most recently with the Nielsen Company, Bill managed global database insights and delivery for the top Consumer Packaged Goods and Retail companies in the world. In this global capacity, Bill worked cross functionally with clients to create a platform of rapid, actionable solutions based on consumer behavior and competitor activities. Bill's responsibilities at Nielsen included comprehensive insights associated with in-store survey solutions, point of purchase merchandising, “retailtainment,” and visual merchandising. Prior to joining Nielsen, Bill was a Director at WIS International, one of the largest providers of retail inventory analysis and in store merchandising. At WIS, Bill worked hand-in-glove with the world’s largest retailers on data capture, analysis, and reporting.
Jan Davis is a leader and advisor of companies in software, analytics, direct and interactive marketing, credit reporting and information. Ms. Davis served as CEO of ShopperTrak RCT Corporation, the global leader in pedestrian traffic counting, from 2004 to 2008. Before joining ShopperTrak, she was an executive vice president and business unit president at TransUnion LLC, the international credit reporting giant. Previously, Ms. Davis was a marketing consultant in Boston, MA and in Warsaw, Poland, working with a US database marketing agency, multi-nationals and Polish enterprises. She co-founded SmartNames, a database marketing information, analysis and services company.
Jeff Heilbrunn has been involved with marketing research in telephony, television, and not-for-profit organizations for three decades. For eight years, he was the national President of the American Marketing Association, the leading professional society of marketing professionals in the world. For the past several years, Mr. Heilbrunn has taught marketing courses for Columbia College of Missouri and also has been active with several successful start-ups.
Jack Kraft has more than 35 years of diversified management experience. Mr. Kraft retired as Vice-Chairman, COO of the Leo Burnett Company, a leading multi-national advertising agency, in 1992 after nearly 20 years. Next, Jack joined Young and Rubicam as EVP/Chief Administrative Officer and member of the Board. For the past dozen years Jack has been an active founder, investor, advisor and/or Board Member of a number of technology service firms. Mr. Kraft has participated in the development and sale of a number of Internet related firms including Modem Media, Two-Way Communications, and SBI.
Art Roldan is a six-time technology CEO with more than 20+ years experience in the software industry. Art is currently Executive Chairman & CEO of ISD Corporation. Most recently, Art was the CEO of SecurePipe before its acquisition by Ambrion and CEO at Novarra.
Ilene Sokoloff is an executive member of Silicom Ventures, one of the largest angel investor and venture capital forums and funds in the U.S., where she helps facilitate investment opportunities between investors and entrepreneurs. Ilene has a plethora of talent in guiding early stage companies. She has served on the Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards of various companies and non-profits for 25 years. Currently, she is an Advisor to GeeYee and Human Network Labs, a mobile social networking location based company.
Huayin Wang is a data analytics thought leader and strategist. For the past 15 years, Huayin has provided strategic data analytics consulting to many companies including Discover Card, DirecTV, Qwest, Taco Bell, Sears etc. Huayin is an expert in statistical modeling and data mining. He currently serves as VP Analytics at Trading Desk, Omnicom Media Group. Prior to this, he was VP of Web Analytics for Draftfcb and VP of AI Research for Analytics Innovations. Huayin holds a master degree in sociology from the University of Chicago.
